Epiphany Mass : 09.01.2026

"They went into the house, and when they saw the child with Mary his mother, they knelt down and worshipped him." Matthew 2:11
On Friday 9th January 2026, our school community gathered together for Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. Despite the mass being postponed from 6th January due to snowy and icy conditions, it was lovely to see our St Sebastian's community come together to mark this special occasion, with the whole school (Reception - Y6), staff, families, Governors and parishioners in attendance.
The Mass was beautifully led by Year 4 and celebrated by Fr Liam, who reflected on the arrival of the Three Kings, their journey following the Star of Bethlehem and the gifts they brought to worship Jesus. Fr Liam reminded us that God has given each of us a special gift and that we are called to use our gifts to live like Christ and help make our world a better place.
It was a wonderful and prayerful way to begin the new year, united together as one school family.
