We are delighted to share some wonderful news about Alba Moss, one of our talented Year 4 pupils, who has represented our school and community with exceptional dedication and spirit.

Last Saturday, 21st March 2026, Alba took part in the National Primary School Cross Country Finals, proudly representing the Year 5 Liverpool & District Team. The event took place at NAEC Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh, Kenilworth, where she competed against over 200 Year 5 girls from across the country.

Alba delivered an incredible performance, finishing 19th nationally! A remarkable achievement that reflects her commitment to giving “only my best will do.” Her determination, resilience and joy in striving for excellence shone through every step of the race.

Her success continued at the Liverpool & District City Championships Final last night, where Alba was honoured with the Zoe Tynan Spirit of Running Award 2026. This award recognises not only her fantastic performances throughout the season, but also the way she consistently “is kind to one another” , showing encouragement, sportsmanship and genuine care for her fellow runners.

Alba truly lives out our school motto in all she does. She works hard, lifts others up and approaches every challenge with a positive heart. She is a wonderful example to her peers and a credit to our school community.
