Collective Worship Committee
Key Stage 1

Key Stage 2

We are very proud of our Collective Worship Committee here at St Sebastian’s. The committee comprises of pupil representatives from year 1-6 who meet weekly to discuss, plan and prepare whole school and class collective worships centred on Gospel values. The passion, drive and enthusiasm demonstrated by our committee members helps to ensure that collective worship is a powerful opportunity for our school community to come together to worship the Lord in a meaningful and age appropriate manner. The committee roles and responsibilities include setting up prayer tables or reflective focal areas, choosing relevant scripture that speaks to them, reading out prayers and distributing go forth tokens at the end of the session. Collective Worship Committee have had a significant enhanced collective worship within our school by giving children a sense of ownership over their own worship.
