Education Sunday

This Sunday, we celebrate Education Sunday, a special day in the Catholic Church when we give thanks for the gift of education and for everyone who plays a part in helping our children to learn, grow and flourish.

At St Sebastian’s Catholic Primary School & Nursery | St Sebastian's Daycare, we are incredibly fortunate to have a community of people who care so deeply about our children. From our youngest children beginning their journey with us in Daycare to our Year 6 children preparing for the next chapter, we want every child to know that they are loved, valued and encouraged to become the very best person God created them to be.

Education Sunday is a lovely opportunity to say thank you to everyone who makes this possible.

Thank you to our wonderful staff for the care, dedication and encouragement they give our children every day.

Thank you to our governors, who generously give their time and support to help our school continue to grow and provide the very best for our children.

And thank you to our families for the trust you place in us and for everything you do at home to support your children in their learning and faith.

It really does take all of us working together. Guided by Christ and inspired by St Sebastian, we hope that our children see in the adults around them what it means to give their best, care for others and be kind to one another.

This Education Sunday, we give thanks for our whole St Sebastian’s family and ask God to continue to bless our children and all those who help them along the way.

Bless our children, families, staff and governors
