About Our School

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

St Sebastian’s Catholic Primary School, located in Liverpool (L7), sits at the heart of our local community, serving generations of families with pride and dedication. For many families, St Sebastian’s is more than a school — it is a place of shared history and lasting connections. Children who once attended St Sebastian’s now arrive at our school gates with their own children and even grandchildren, continuing a proud tradition of learning, faith and community involvement.

As part of a federation (alongside St Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School & Field of Dreams Nursery), we work closely to share expertise and support, ensuring the very best opportunities for every pupil.

Here at St Sebastian's, we are committed to nurturing the whole child — academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Our dedicated staff, in partnership with families, Governors and the wider community, create a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment where children can grow in faith, confidence and character.

Our school motto, “Only my best will do. Be kind to one another,” underpins everything we do, encouraging children to strive for excellence while treating others with compassion and respect.
