We are proud to announce that St Sebastian’s has achieved the CAFOD Live Simply Award, a national recognition for schools and communities who live out their faith by caring for God’s creation and for people in need. This award celebrates our school’s commitment to living simply, sustainably, and in solidarity with others, reflecting the Gospel values in our everyday actions.

To achieve the award, our pupils and staff have undertaken a variety of initiatives, including reducing waste, recycling, conserving energy, growing our own food, supporting charitable projects, and helping those in our local and global communities. These activities encourage children to understand the importance of making small, thoughtful choices that benefit the planet and others, fostering a sense of responsibility, gratitude, and compassion.
