Transition to Secondary School
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Choosing the right secondary school is an important and sometimes difficult decision for families. At St. Sebastian’s, we understand that parents and carers want to make the best choice for their child’s future, and we are committed to supporting you throughout this process. Our school feeds into Broughton Hall Catholic High School (Girls) and Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School (boys) and we work closely with these schools to ensure a smooth transition for any of our pupils who will be attending.
As part of our Federation, it is important for us to support our feder secondary schools, particularly regarding admissions, open days and transition arrangements. In order for parents and carers to make informed decisions regarding secondary schools, please see further information about Broughton Hall & Cardinal Heenan Catholic High Schools including admission policies, key dates and transition support.
