Fiver Challenge (June 2019)
Throughout the month of June 2019, the children in Year 6 took part in the Fiver Challenge. Groups / individuals were given a £5 pledge and had to decide what product they would invest their fiver into. Teams had to source materials or products, prepare sales pitches, and plan to sell their products at a summer pop-up market in the school hall at the end of June.
The £5 pledge supported the children to get their business idea off the ground during the 4 weeks of the challenge, aiming to make as much profit as they could. The pop-up market was a huge success with the whole school! What a brilliant way to learn about the world of enterprise and money.
