Let's Count Census Day (March 2021)
The census is the most complete source of information about our population.
It’s been giving a detailed picture of our society since 1801.
Census data helps us to understand the needs of our society, now and in the future.
It also helps with planning and resource allocation, while providing a snapshot for future generations to look back on.
The census is a survey that happens every 10 years and this year it took place on Sunday 21st March 2021.
To celebrate this event, every class looked at the Census 2021 from different perspectives:
EYFS: Created their own time capsule
Year 1: NHS (Florence Nightingale)
Year 2: Our School Census
Year 3: Time Travel Detectives
Year 4: Working Life In the Past
