Year 5/6 School Production
Every year a very special, highly anticipated event takes place- the Year 5/6 pantomime production. The event is huge and is written and directed by the Year 6 teaching staff.
It is put together so that every child can enjoy performing, grow in confidence and self-esteem, and feel that they are indeed a very significant part of a very special event indeed. School life is not just about academic progress, it is about special moments and memories- pupils love learning together and discovering talents to share.
This production is all inclusive- every child is involved and appreciated for what they themselves can give. Children discover their comic timing, their dancing skills, singing voice, and so much more...
Their enjoyment is infectious; their growth in confidence staggering.
The children give a matinee performance for the school and two evenings of fun, laughter and amazing talent for the school community. Our parents continue to be amazed by the extremely high standard and professional performances. The atmosphere each evening is quite spectacular and this is quite a unique community event. The PTA involvement adds to the enjoyment and sense of occasion with an array of fundraising opportunities (raffles, refreshments, etc.)
Each year the school community are totally amazed by the outstanding talent of our children. The joyous event can only be described as a wonderful avenue through which our children can give thanks for their gifts and talents and excel with thanks to the Lord for what we have been given.
