St Sebastian's was included in an Ofsted Report "Twenty outstanding primary schools - Excelling against the odds."

 

This report was produced in 2009, written by Dr Peter Matthews consultant and former Her Majesty's Inspector.

 

This report looked at how St. Sebastian's had achieved its excellent standards and how it sustained these.  It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the whole school community including the Federation with St. Cuthbert's.  The shared collaborative approach of staff, pupils and parents drives the federation forward from strength to strength.
